  2. 填妥賬戶資料,按「建立個人資料」後,你的壹會員賬戶便成功設立,隨即可以選購適合你的訂閱計劃,進行付款。日後只要使用這個賬戶,便能盡覽《蘋果動新聞》及台灣《蘋果新聞網》所有內容。

已註冊但未升級壹會員:
  1. 打開《蘋果動新聞》app,按右上方的「我要訂閱」,然後以你的壹會員賬戶登入。

  2. 選購適合你的訂閱計劃,進行付款。

我在《蘋果動新聞》app內購買訂閱計劃,但為何仍然無法閱覽《蘋果動新聞》所有內容?
  1. 如你在app內已成功付款訂閱但未能使用服務,建議可於app內「我要訂閱」頁面,捲下至最底部,按「復原你的訂閱」再次連接Google Play Store以恢復服務。如app仍未能正常運作,會收到失敗訊息,屆時請聯絡本公司顧客服務部,否則則不用理會。

  2. 在背景程式中先關上《蘋果動新聞》app,重開再試(即kill app)。

  3. 確認你的登入賬戶是已繳費的賬戶。例如,如以手機號碼註冊及付費,只能用相同手機號碼登入;如以電郵地址註冊及付費,請使用相同電郵地址登入。

  4. 確認你已繳費的賬戶方法:在你電郵信箱中,搜尋「蘋果動新聞」,檢查接收過的電子賬單,在賬單中就可以找到你以哪個電郵/電話註冊及繳費。

  5. 以該賬戶重新登入。

新聞消息通知可以令你接收最重要和最新的資訊。點擊左上方三條橫線的圖示,在彈出功能表的下方點擊齒輪圖示,按「新聞消息通知」,再按「最新消息」的欄目,《蘋果動新聞》app的設定頁面便會自動打開,按「通知」,開啟「允許通知」。你亦可以在「新聞消息通知」的頁面開啟「靜音時段」,自選暫停接收通知的時段。

If you log in with a mobile number and subscribe through the mobile app, but haven't received any email and can't view the content, you can try the following steps:

Click on the menu on the top left corner on the Apple Daily App. Then, click on the avatar in the lower left corner to enter NEXT Member Centre. Click "Modify Personal Information," and then "Add New Login Email." Add a new email that hasn't been previously registered. Return to the main page of Apple Daily App, click "Subscribe" on the top right corner, and finally click "Restore your subscription.

How to download Apple Daily App?
Please go to the Google Play Store to download Apple Daily App (Chinese:《蘋果動新聞》) for free.

Please note that the device you use to download Apple Daily App must be Android version 6.0 or above. To check the Android version of your device, open "Settings," click "About this device" (wording varies depending on devices), and here you can see your device's system information.

If you log in with a mobile number and subscribe through the mobile app, but you didn't receive any email and can't view the content, you can try the following methods:

First, open the main page on the Apple Daily App. Click on the icon with three horizontal lines in the top left corner to open the menu. Then, click on the avatar in the lower left corner to enter the NEXT member center. Click "Modify Personal Information," and add a new email address that hasn't been previously registered as a NEXT Free Member by selecting "Add New Login Email." Return to the main page of Apple Daily App, click "Subscription Overview" in the top right corner, and then click "Restore your subscription."

Yes, as long as your Android device uses version 6.0 or above, you can purchase a subscription plan in Apple Daily App. No matter where you subscribed, you can still access Apple Daily (HK) on all platforms.

Apple Daily App is free to download. After becoming a NEXT Free Member, you can view a selection of our content for free. If you want access to all content from Apple Daily (HK), you must become a Subscriber by purchasing a Apple Daily (HK) subscription plan.

How to access all content from Apple Daily App?
By subscribing to Apple Daily (HK). As a Subscriber, you can access all content from Apple Daily (HK). Please follow the below steps to subscribe:

For non-registered members:
  1. Open Apple Daily App, click "Subscribe" in the upper right corner, and click "Register Now" in the column "Don't have an account?"(尚未成為會員). You can choose to register with your Facebook or Google account in one click, or use your mobile number or email and password to register. Read the terms and conditions, select the corresponding option, and click "New Registration" at the bottom of the page.

  2. Fill in the account information, click "Create Personal Information," your NEXT Free Member account will be set up successfully, and then you can choose a subscription plan and make payment. You will be able to access all the contents of Apple Daily (HK) and Apple Daily (TW) in the future by using this account.

For registered but not upgraded NEXT Free Member::
  1. Open Apple Daily App, click "Subscribe" in the upper right corner, and then log in to your NEXT Free Member account.

  2. Choose a subscription plan and make payment.

  3. After completing the payment, you can view all content of Apple Daily (HK) and Apple Daily (TW).

In the future, you can use this upgraded NEXT Free Member account, to not only view all the content of Apple Daily App, but also Apple Daily website and its other websites, including Eat and Travel Weekly, Goodest Channel and Goodestzine (ebook) etc, plus Apple Daily (TW), you are also welcome to participate subscribe only activities, enjoying all kinds of content and activities.

What type of subscription plan does Apple Daily App offer?
We currently only offer a prepaid monthly subscription plan.

Why is the currency for subscription not in Hong Kong Dollars?
If you are not in Hong Kong when you register as "NEXT Free Member," your account will be registered as a Taiwan or overseas "NEXT Free Member" account. Another situation may be that the currency value set by your physical location or mobile area code number does not signify Hong Kong Dollars.

How does Google Play Store charge the subscription fees?
Google Play Google Play Store will deduct the fee from your Google account on a timely basis. It will automatically renew after the charging cycle ends and no refunds will be made. The fee will be charged according to the Google Play policies and the plan you've subscribed to.

I have purchased a subscription plan on Apple Daily App. Why can't I view all content from Apple Daily (HK)?
  1. If you have successfully paid for your subscription in the App but failed to access our service, it is recommended to visit the "Subscribe" page in the App, scroll down to the bottom, and then click "Restore your subscription" to connect with the App Store to restore the service. Please contact our Customer Service Department if the App is still not functioning normally and you receive a prompt message: "Please contact our Customer Service Department."

  2. You may also wish to try closing the App (running in the background) and then reopening it again (i.e. kill app).

  3. Make sure that your login account is the same account you made the payment. For example: (a) if you've registered and paid with a mobile number, you may only log in with that same mobile number, and, (b) if you'be registered and paid with an email address, please log in with that same email address.

  4. To confirm your paid account: In your email inbox, search for Apple Daily (HK), check for a received electronic bill; here you can find the email or mobile number you have used to register and complete payment.

  5. Log in again with that account.

If the problem persists, go to Question 25, or, contact our Customer Service Department.
In addition, due to some copyright issues, part of the Goodest Channel content may be restricted from viewing in Hong Kong and Macau only.

How to check subscription items and bills?
Please go to Apple Daily (HK) website (hk.appledaily.com), log in to your account. Click "Account Profile" to enter the NEXT Member Centre, click "My Subscription" to view your subscription, and then click "My Statements" to find the billing record.

Yes, you can. Simply visit the Apple Daily (HK) website (hk.appledaily.com), log in to your account, click "Account Profile" to enter NEXT Member Centre, and then click "Modify Personal Information" to make your changes.

As long as you subscribe to Apple Daily (TW) and become a Subscriber, you can also view Apple Daily (TW). Open the Apple Daily (TW) App, click Apple Daily (TW) at the top of the page, and you will automatically jump to the Apple Daily (TW) App (please download Apple Daily (TW) (Chinese: 台灣《蘋果新聞網》) App first). How do I refresh my subscription content?
Whether you are using Apple Daily App or not, as long as the device is connected to the network, the content will be automatically refreshed or updated. If you want to update it manually, just pull down the screen from the top and release it.

Can I customize the interface of Apple Daily App?
You can set the content categories, customize content and prioritize according to your own personal interests. Click the "+" icon in the top right corner, you may then add content categories and edit your sorting priority.

How to change the font size in Apple Daily App?
Click the three horizontal lines at the top left corner, click the Gear icon at the bottom of the pop-up menu, and click "line spacing and font size." Slide the round button along the slider to preview and select the appearance of the article.

How to search for content in Apple Daily App?
Click the three horizontal lines at the top left corner, click the Magnifying Glass icon at the bottom of the pop-up menu, enter keywords in the search bar, press "Search" on the keyboard, then your search results will appear. Click on the result of your interest to read related content.

How to bookmark my favorite articles?
Simply log in to your account on Apple Daily App, you can bookmark any article for reading at any time.

In the article you want to bookmark, click the three-dot icon at the top right, and then click "Bookmark." To cancel, simply press "Cancel Bookmark" found in the same location.
When you want to read your bookmarked articles, open Apple Daily App, click the three horizontal lines at the top left corner, click the Bookmark icon at the bottom of the pop-up menu, there you can retrieve your bookmarked articles.

In order to protect your privacy, your bookmarks are stored on your mobile phone. If you log in with a new mobile phone, you will not be able to restore your previous bookmarks.

Just click on the three-dot icon at the top right of the article you want to share, and then click "Share." You can choose how to share the article.

Just scroll down to the bottom of the article, there will be a "Top Comments" column. Click on the dialog icon with numbers on the right, and the page will be redirected to the comments column.

Unfortunately, if your device is not connected to the Internet or WiFi, you will not be able to view the content on Apple Daily App.

How to turn on News Notifications?
News Notifications allow you to receive the most important and up-to-date information. Click the three horizontal lines on the top left corner, click the Gear icon at the bottom of the pop-up menu, click "News Notification," then click "Latest News" the Apple Daily App settings page will be automatically opened. Click "Notification" and turn on "Allow Notification." You can also set a notifications "Silent Period" via the "News Notification" page, choosing which period to suspend receiving notifications.

We do not currently support this setting, but you can turn on "Dark theme" on your Android device. (wording varies depending on devices)

I purchased my subscription plan through Apple Daily App, how do I change or cancel?
You can cancel the auto-renewal function at any time by the following way, you can still continue to view the content until the subscription ends.

Google Play Store account:
  1. Open Google Play Store

  2. Open Menu, click "My Subscriptions"

  3. Go to the subscription item and click "Cancel Subscription"
